Public Notice of Meeting – Statewide Recount in Supreme Court Race

The Members of the Alamance County Board of Elections will meet beginning on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. for the purpose of conducting a recount for the office of Supreme Court Chief Justice. Democrat Candidate Beasley submitted the recount request to the State Board of Elections on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

The recount process will continue daily until the recount is complete. The Board will recess at the end of each day and reconvene for the next meeting as needed to complete the recount.

The recount will be conducted at 378 Harden St., Suite C, Burlington, NC 27215. Due to COVID and social distancing, limited public viewing space will be provided. No online viewing will be provided.

Notice of Meeting

The Alamance County Board of Elections will hold a public meeting on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Board of Elections Office located at 115 S. Maple Street in Graham, NC.

 

This meeting is called pursuant to the mandate given by the State Board of Elections & Ethics Enforcement on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 that all appointed members of the County Boards of Elections take their oath of office no later than noon on Monday, April 2, 2018.

 

At a public meeting scheduled on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. the State Board of Elections & Ethics Enforcement appointed members to the County Boards of Elections.  GS 163A-766
